Soprano Marimba: $1,300

The soprano marimba is two octave diatonic (no sharps and flats) from C4 (middle C) to C6. It can be made with two wheels on the bass end for tilt up vertical storage or with four legs. Bars are African Padauk and the frame is made from Maple (plywood bass end legs for two wheel version). Resonator tubes are 3 inch nominal drain pipe with plywood plugs. Bar sizes are approximately 2 3/4 inches. F sharps and B flats can be added for an additional charge. Image coming soon.

Alto Marimba: $1,400

The alto marimba is two octave diatonic from G3 to G5. Like the soprano, it can be made with two wheels or four legs. Bars are African Padauk and the frame is made from Maple (plywood bass end legs for two wheel version). Resonator tubes are 3 inch nominal drain pipe with plywood plugs. Bar sizes are approximately 2 3/4 inches. F sharps and B flats can be added for an additional charge.

Tenor Marimba: $1,500

The tenor marimba is two octave diatonic from C3 to C5. It can be made with four wheels or four legs. The four leg version has handle cut-outs in the ends for easy lifting. Bars are African Padauk and the frame is made from Maple. Resonator tubes are 3 inch nominal drain pipe with plywood plugs. Resonators are mounted in a way to be easily removed. Bar sizes are approximately 2 3/4 inches. F sharps and B flats can be added for an additional charge.

Baritone Marimba: $2000

The baritone marimba is two octave diatonic from G2 to G4. F sharps and B flats can be added for an additional fee. The baritone comes with four wheels for easy maneuvering. Bars are made from Cherry and the frame is made from Maple. Resonator tubes are 4 inch nominal pipe size for increased volume. Bar sizes are approximately 3 3/4 inch. Image coming soon.

Bass Marimba: $2500

The bass marimba is nine note diatonic from C2 to D3. Resonator tubes are 6 inch nominal pipe size for increased volume. Bar sizes vary slightly with slightly wider keys closer to the bass end. Bars are made from Ash wood and the frame is made from Maple. Image coming soon.

Mallets: Soprano, Alto Tenor $20 per pair

Soprano, Alto and Tenor mallets come in five different colors and hardness. Yellow are the softest at 60A shore hardness, Green are medium at 70A shore hardness, Blue are medium hard at 80A, Dark Blue are hard at 80A (impact resistant polyurethane rubber), and Red are the hardest at 85A (impact resistant polyurethane rubber).

Mallet heads are approximately 1 1/2 inch wide by 3/4 inch tall discs. Mallet sticks are 1/2 inch Birch dowels that are 12 inches long.

Mallets: Baritone $25 per pair

Baritone mallets are yellow and relatively soft at 60A shore hardness. Mallet heads are approximately 2 inches wide by 1 inch tall discs. Mallet sticks are 5/8 inch Hickory dowels that are 14 inches long.

Mallets: Bass $30 per pair

Bass mallets are yellow and relatively soft at 60A shore hardness. Mallet heads are approximately 2 1/2 inches wide by 1 1/4 inch tall discs. Mallet sticks are 5/8 inch Hickory dowels that are 14 inches long. Alternatively, bass mallets can be made from Lacrosse balls if a round mallet head is desired.
